Bridal prep wedding photography
The bridal prep wedding photography for me is not just about the actual getting ready shots because this part of the day is really the start of your wedding story so with bridal prep photography I will also be shooting some extra details such as the wedding flowers, dress and shoes before they get put on or the finishing touches to the wedding make up and hair all in a documentary wedding photography style.
You might be feeling unsure about photography during this part of the day, but after photographing 100’s of weddings you can be sure that I wont be getting in your way and I can seamlessly fit between everything you need to do.
This is also the best time to get shots of the wedding flowers as later they do get a little bruised – along with the button holes that get squashed from all those hugs.
Getting ready at home.
If you are getting ready at your own or a parents home then once everyone is ready we can get a few shots with Mum’s and Dad’s or bridesmaids in the garden before you all head off to the ceremony. Sometimes the weather forecast may be for rain, so this could be the best chance to get any photos of you in your wedding dress outside in natural daylight.
By including bridal prep wedding photography in your day it means you will be able to share all those moments with others after the wedding.
With some cleaver timing’s I can also get a shot of you with the wedding car outside the house. My experience in the timings needed means I can still catch up with the groom for some shots with his parents and guests arriving before your wedding party arrives. It could be at a Church wedding or at Civil wedding venue or even if timings will allow I can meet up with the lads in the pub before they walk to the Church.
I have a gallery of the kind of shots that we can do of the groom after the bridal prep wedding photography, here — The Groom
